Meetings are now on the first and third Wednesdays each month and start promptly at 7 p.m. The Post is usually open by about 6 p.m. Please attend a meeting soon. Food is usually served after each meeting.
Our annual Armed Forces cookout at the Post Home is scheduled for Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. Hamburgers, brats, potato salad, chips and other fixings are available. This is a family event and only a free will offering is suggested. We've always broke even at these events so it cost the Post nothing.
Post 1038's annual Buddy Poppy Campaign was May 27-29, 2021 at the Lake Hallie Walmart and both Chippewa area Family Fare grocery stores. It was a cold and rainy start, but the results were the best ever! Area residents were all very generous this year. All proceeds are placed in our Veterans Relief Fund.
