Meetings are on the first and third Wednesdays each month and start promptly at 7 p.m. The Post is usually open by about 6 p.m. Please attend a meeting soon. A lunch is usually served after each meeting.

The Post 1038 Auxiliary meets the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. The meeting is held at the Veterans Memorial Building located at 12 E. Spring Street in Chippewa Falls.
Beginning February 1, 2023, Post 1038 is offering a $100 discount to new or reinstated Life Members to our Post. For more information contact Quartermaster Leroy Jansky at 715.723.0408 or attend a Post meeting the first or third Wednesday at 7 p.m. A copy of your DD-214 in necessary to verify eligibility.
VFW Post 1038 held its first annual food drive at the Lake Hallie Walmart and collected over 1,300 pounds of food and convenience items and over $1,000 cash. A donation was made to Agnes's Table in Chippewa Falls.
Drive Thru Chicken Dinner
Help support VFW Post 1038, veterans and the community. Our fourth annual drive through grilled chicken dinner is Saturday, August 5th from 3 to 7 p.m. The cost is $12.00 per meal. Enjoy 2 pieces of chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, potato salad, roll, string cheese and water. Fast service.

Rathke, a Gold Legacy Life member of Post 1638 in Merrill, Wisconsin, is one of 48 VFW Department commanders worldwide to earn the title of All-American commander. Her hard work played an integral role helping the organization successfully remain focused on its service to veterans.
