The Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council and VFW Post 1038 were unable to conduct Veterans Days Programs at local schools this year due to the COVID restrictions. However, one school honored all veterans by producing a short video.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our annual Buddy Poppy campaign to raise funds for our Relief Fund was rescheduled to September 10th, 11th and 12th, 2020. Amazingly, donations were nearly as good as last year and we'll be able to support needy veterans in our service area and several other VFW programs.
