Meetings are now on the first and third Wednesdays each month and start promptly at 7 p.m. The Post is usually open by about 6 p.m. Please attend a meeting soon. Food is usually served after each meeting.
Grilled Chicken Dinner
Thanks to everyone who purchased dinners at our first annual grilled chicken dinner. It was a huge success! We pretty much reached our sales goal and we are planning for a 2nd annual dinner next year. Stay tuned. Thanks again for your support.
Veterans Day 2020
The Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council and VFW Post 1038 were unable to conduct Veterans Days Programs at local schools this year due to the COVID restrictions. However, one school honored all veterans by producing a short video.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our annual Buddy Poppy campaign to raise funds for our Relief Fund was rescheduled to September 10th, 11th and 12th, 2020. Amazingly, donations were nearly as good as last year and we'll be able to support needy veterans in our service area and several other VFW programs.

March 10th - Women Veteran Leaders: Continuing To Serve
In celebration of Women’s History Month, join the War Memorial Center, in partnership with the Milwaukee VA Medical Center’s mental health team, for our “Continuing to Serve” panel in support of Operation 30:20.
The panel will feature four female veterans, discussing their transition to civilian life and how the military influenced their paths to leadership.
